Improved Facebook profile detection in Prospecting marketing audit reports
We’ve significantly improved how Prospecting and Marketing Audit Reports detect a business’s Facebook profile.
Previously, Facebook profile detection relied primarily on publicly available data. This often resulted in businesses having missing or incorrect Facebook profiles, and users had no way to correct them, leading to less accurate audit reports.
With this release, we’ve enhanced detection accuracy by utilising multiple data sources and added the capability to manually update a prospect’s Facebook profile whenever needed.
Multi-layered Facebook Profile Detection
Facebook profiles are now identified using multiple sources rather than solely depending on a single public lookup. Detection now combines information from:
- The prospect’s website
- The prospect’s local listing profiles
- Our internal data partners
This significantly improves Facebook profile coverage and accuracy across Prospecting and Marketing Audit Reports.
Even with improved detection, public information isn’t always perfect. You can now manually update a prospect’s Facebook profile if it’s missing or incorrect.
How to Update It:
- Open a prospect inside the Prospecting Tool
- Navigate to the Social Profiles tab
- Add or update the Facebook profile URL
- Save your changes by clicking the ‘Update Information’ button at the bottom
- The report will then start updating based on the new URL (this may take 1-2 minutes, so please be patient)
- Higher Facebook profile detection accuracy
- More reliable Social Presence and Marketing Audit Reports
- Users are no longer hindered by missing or outdated public information
- Complete control over the Facebook profile used for future audits
Impact
This update enhances the overall quality and credibility of Marketing Audit Reports while offering agencies the flexibility to correct business information whenever necessary, ensuring every audit is generated using the most accurate Facebook profile available.
