Dashboard Date Picker & Filter Persistence
We’ve enhanced our dashboards and custom reports to ensure date ranges and filter selections are remembered for each user.
The system now retains the date range and filters you select. When you refresh the page or return later, your selections will remain exactly as you left them.
• Automatic Saving of Dashboard Date Range
The dashboard date range now saves automatically for each user.
• Persistent Widget Dropdown Values
Widget dropdown values now preserve user selections and no longer default to the first pipeline value.
• Saved Selections
Selected values remain saved until you choose to change them manually.
• AI Summary Update
The AI Summary now reflects the selected pipeline rather than always defaulting to the first pipeline in the dropdown.
• Handling Deleted Filters
If a saved filter (such as a pipeline) is deleted, we will automatically choose the first available option.
• Duplicated Dashboards
Duplicated dashboards retain relevant date and filter settings, ensuring continuity.
• Comparison Date Range Introduction
A comparison date range has been added at the dashboard level, which will also apply to general widgets.
• Widget Level Preference
Widget-level comparison will take precedence over dashboard level when specified.
• Consistency in Custom Reports
Custom reports now follow the same persistence logic as dashboards.
• Saving Dropdown Values for Users
Dropdown values are saved for all users when the report creator clicks “Save”.
• Email Sharing Improvements
Email sharing now transmits a snapshot of the report values at the time the email is generated.
• Stability of Sent Emails
Subsequent changes to reports will not affect emails that have already been sent.
• Custom Report Builder Enhancements
A comparison date range has also been introduced for the custom report builder, applicable to general widgets.
• Preference in Custom Report Comparisons
In the custom report builder, widget-level comparison will take priority over report level when specified.
• Flexibility in Widget-Level Date Settings
Widget-level date settings may still differ from the dashboard date.
• Exclusion of User-Specific Preferences in Snapshots
Snapshot restores do not copy user-specific preferences.
You no longer need to reset filters each time you open a dashboard. Your reports remain consistent, and previously sent emails will not be affected even if you update the filters later.
