We are excited to introduce a significant upgrade to Chat Widget custom theme colour – two new text colour options within the custom theme settings for chat-widget typography. Users can now customise the text colour for the chat-widget header message and the welcome message.

😇 Key Points:

  1. For new users who have not yet applied a custom theme to their chat-widget, these new text colour options will be applied automatically without requiring any additional changes.
  2. For existing users who have already implemented a custom theme, the previous behaviour will persist until the new text colour options are applied. Specifically, the header message text colour will continue to use the sender message text colour, and the welcome message text colour will use the system message text colour.
  3. 😍 Users can further customise these colours according to their preferences with the new configuration options. Renamed for better user friendly experience:
  • Sender Message Text Colour -> Visitor Message Text Colour
  • Received Message Text Colour -> Agent/AI Message Text Colour
  • Sender Message Colour -> Visitor Message Colour
  • Received Message Colour -> Agent/AI Message Colour
