Chat Widget Registration — Smarter Compliance Check Before Submission
Overview: We have enhanced the Chat Widget compliance check to be more intelligent. It now detects when the Lead Connector chat widget is not live on a user’s website, prompting them to address the issue before submitting.
What’s new:
- During the Chat Widget registration, our compliance review will actively scan the user’s website to verify the integration of the Lead Connector chat widget.
- If the widget is not detected, the user will receive a clear, actionable prompt with step-by-step guidance — copy the widget script, paste it into the website, and re-run the check — all within the Compliance Review modal.
- The user can only resubmit once the check is successful.
Previously:
- Users were able to submit Chat Widget campaigns even if the widget was not physically present on their website.
- These submissions often led to rejections, causing frustration among users.

Why it matters:
- Submissions with missing widgets have consistently been one of the leading reasons for rejection in Chat Widget campaigns.
- Addressing this issue at the point of submission, along with providing a clear solution, enables users to achieve an approved campaign more swiftly.
