Workflow AI Builder – Error Reduction and Reliability Improvements
We have implemented significant reliability improvements to the Workflow AI Builder, dramatically reducing generation errors. This release emphasises the need for the AI Builder to deliver a consistent and error-free experience on a large scale.
1. Conditional Generation Errors – Eliminated
The AI Builder previously struggled to generate branches or actions involving conditions (such as If/Else, Wait with Condition of Contact Reply, Decision Maker, Find Contact, etc.), resulting in complete workflow generations failing.
- Before: Conditional generation errors occurred frequently during workflow creation.
- After: 0% error rate.
- Result: 100% elimination.
2. Node Generation Failures – 10x Lower Failure Rate
Valid workflow nodes were failing to generate, which caused entire workflows to collapse during creation.
- Before: Approximately 3.5% failure rate.
- After: Approximately 0.35% failure rate.
- Result: A tenfold reduction in failure rate, even with a threefold increase in generation volume post-General Availability.
Our focus for the AI Builder centres on three pillars: lower error rates, low latency, and accuracy of generated workflow output. We prioritised fixing these errors before reaching General Availability, and the results demonstrate that investment. As adoption increases, we will continue to enhance the reliability of the AI Builder to ensure that workflows generate accurately and consistently at scale.
