Toll Free Number Verification – EIN Requirement Removed

Toll Free Numbers Verification – You no longer need an EIN or any form of business registration number to verify your Toll Free Numbers for sending SMS.

Within the subaccount settings, navigate to Phone Numbers > Manage Numbers. Here, you will notice a “Verification Required” icon. Clicking on it will guide you through the verification process, as displayed above.

Old Verification Process – Previously, users were required to provide their EIN number, as illustrated below:

New Verification Process – In contrast, the new procedure does not require an EIN:

The remainder of the user journey stays unchanged, except for the final step. Users will need to complete KYC verification if they haven’t done so already.

What This Update Enables:
