Some email types are now exempted from DND
We have updated our email delivery logic, ensuring that three essential email types are no longer omitted when a contact is marked as Do Not Disturb (DND):
- Payments (Invoices)
- Calendar Notifications
- System Notifications
Previously, marking a contact as DND would prevent these transactional and time-sensitive emails from being sent, meaning crucial information such as invoices, calendar updates, and system alerts might go undelivered. As these emails are vital for maintaining account and operational continuity (not for marketing or promotional purposes), we have exempted them from DND rules to ensure that contacts never miss important communications.
This change applies solely to the three email types mentioned above. All marketing and promotional emails will continue to fully respect DND settings, as before — this is not a general override of the DND preference.
