Enhanced contact tag management experience
We have enhanced the tag management experience in the Contacts module by introducing a double confirmation process for adding and removing tags. Previously, selecting or deselecting a tag would immediately apply the change, which could unintentionally trigger workflows. With this update, users now have greater control and can manage tags with confidence, free from accidental workflow executions.
Key Improvements:
- Introduction of an
Apply
button for tag changes
- Added a
Cancel
button to discard unintended changes
- Double confirmation for both adding new tags and removing existing ones
- Prevented accidental workflow triggers resulting from unintended tag updates
- Enhanced overall safety and accuracy in managing contact tags
How to Use the New Feature:
- Open the tag dropdown for a contact
- Select or deselect the tag(s) you wish to add or remove
- The
Apply
button becomes active
- Click
Apply
to confirm the addition or removal of tag(s)
- Click
Cancel
if you do not wish to proceed
This additional confirmation step ensures that workflows are triggered only after intentional tag updates.

Future Enhancements:
We are continually improving the tag management experience with upcoming features, including:
- Tag categories for better organisation
- Tag colours for improved visibility and identification
- Category and colour visibility directly within the tag dropdown
- Display of selected tag counts for each category
These enhancements will make tag management more intuitive, organised, and scalable for growing businesses.
