Custom credential expiration for Certificates

We have introduced custom credential expiration for certificates and templates, allowing you to control how long issued credentials remain valid — from never expiring, to a fixed date, or relative durations from the date of issue.

  • Set expiry to Never, a fixed date, or a relative duration from the issue date
  • Relative options include 3, 6, 9, 12, 24, or 36 months
  • Configure reminder offsets so recipients receive notifications prior to expiry
  • Timezone-aware expiry calculation and scheduling
  • Expiry settings are clearly displayed in credential/template lists and modals
  • Provide creators with flexible expiry rules without manual follow-ups
  • Minimise expired credential surprises with timely reminders
  • Open a certificate or credential template
  • Configure expiration (Never, fixed date, or relative months from issue)
  • Optionally set reminder offsets
  • Newly issued credentials will calculate and store expiry based on your settings
