AI Builder in workflows now more powerful

The AI Builder in Workflows has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. The new version replaces the previous experience with a transparent, streaming, context-aware co-pilot that shows you exactly what it’s doing at every step. A new extensible architecture under the hood means every future capability will be shipped faster and build on what’s already live. Expect some exciting updates in the coming weeks.

Real-Time Streaming of Results
now provides a step-by-step progress card for every build, edit, and query. You can see precisely how your request is being processed — whether the AI is asking clarifying questions, searching for actions and triggers, creating the schema, placing it into the workflow, or validating the result.

You can now ask for multiple changes at once (e.g., “rename, add a 24-hour wait, turn off re-entry”), and the AI will execute them all in one go. There’s no need to submit one request at a time.

The AI retains full session context. If you say “actually make that 48 hours”, it knows precisely what you are referring to, eliminating the need to repeat yourself after every message.

If you trigger a build on a canvas that already has a workflow, the AI will ask whether you’d like to start fresh or edit the existing one. Previously, you would have had to manually create a new workflow to begin a new AI workflow.

The AI sidebar adapts to your current location. A blank canvas presents build-from-scratch prompts, while an existing workflow suggests “Make it / Fix it” options based on your current flow. Chat mode surfaces knowledge prompts — with just one click to proceed.

Simply ask a build question in Chat Mode, and a “Continue in Build Mode” button will appear, allowing you to switch modes and auto-submit your request instantly.

After closing the sidebar, you can keep working; when you reopen it, your entire chat history and progress will be right where you left them.

Answers stream in real time, with related follow-up questions surfaced at the end of every response, powered by a dedicated knowledge base search tool.

The AI never references the platform by name in any output. This is enforced at the architectural level, rather than filtered in responses. Agencies can expose the builder to their end customers without any cleanup.

This marks the most significant upgrade to the Workflow AI Builder since its launch. Every interaction is now faster, more transparent, and more reliable. The extensible tool architecture means that new capabilities no longer require a pipeline rewrite but can simply plug in. What ships next will build on everything already live.
