Introduction of Carousel Ads for Ad Manager

We’re excited to introduce Carousel ads for Ad Manager during the creation of any campaign. This was a sought-after feature by most of our current users to enhance the content value of their ad campaigns.

New Media Options in Campaign Creation

  1. In the Ad Content step of the campaign creation process, the existing media section is expanded with two options under the media type sub-section: Single and Carousel.
  2. Under Carousel, the user has the ability to add multiple images or videos up to a limit of 10 per campaign.
  3. Each media added will have a separate headline and description specific to that image/video.
  4. The preview section will demonstrate the media added for the campaign and how it will appear as an advertisement.
  5. Under ‘Review and Publish’ section all the images or videos which are used for the campaign are shown in the ad content > media section.

Enhancements in Media Upload

  • During the campaign creation process, media upload used to be a single image or video, now we can have multiple media to be used within a campaign and a combination of both can be used.
  • Click on Upload Media button for the media library to open up and the images/videos needed for the campaign can be multi-selected and used in the campaign by clicking “Insert Files”.
  • Each added image can be re-ordered in the same form as it’s expected ti be shown in the ad.
  • Headlines for each uploaded image is a required field and proper validations are shown for each image if headline is missing.
  • Details of each image can be seen on the review screen and based on the image selected on the left, image changes on the preview screen.

  • Improved Engagement: Carousel ads can enhance the user’s advertising strategy by making the ad content more engaging and effective.
  • Increased Click-Through Rates: Users are often more likely to click on carousel ads since they can see more options at once, which can lead to higher click-through rates compared to single-image ads.
  • Mobile-Friendly: The swipe-able format is well-suited for mobile users, who represent a significant portion of Facebook’s audience.
  • Cost-Effective: By showcasing multiple products in one ad, you may reduce the overall cost per click (CPC) compared to running several individual ads.
