WhatsApp: Support for Snippets | Clixio Changelog

We are excited to announce the support of Message Snippets (Templates) under WhatsApp. With this feature, you can now create and use predefined templates for frequently used messages, making it easier and faster to respond to inquiries, send promotional content, and manage routine communications with your customers on WhatsApp.

  • By using snippets, you can significantly reduce your messaging costs. Sending a snippet opens a service conversation on WhatsApp, which means that for 24 hours from the last inbound message, you can send an unlimited number of snippets, with costs incurred only once per 24 hours.
  • This allows you to maximise the value of each service conversation while maintaining consistent and efficient communication.

Predefined Templates for Quick Responses:

  • Create and save message snippets as templates that can be easily accessed and reused across your communication channels.
  • Ideal for common responses, promotional messages, and other frequently sent content.

Customisable Snippets with Dynamic Content:

  • Compose your snippets using Custom Values and Trigger Links to personalise messages on the fly.
  • You now have the flexibility to either send the message immediately by clicking ‘Send’ or make further edits to the snippet before sending.
  • Ensure that each message feels tailored to the recipient, even when using predefined templates.

  1. Go to Marketing > Templates (Snippets) > Add Template (Snippet) > Add Text Template (Snippet)
  2. Go to Conversation > WhatsApp > Insert Snippets
  3. Select Snippet > It will auto populate the snippet you composed and now you have the option to add to the message or send it right away by clicking Send.
