Store Creation via Store Elements in the Builder

We’ve made it easier to create a store directly from the Website Builder! 🎉

With this update, users can now add store elements (such as Product Lists, Featured Products, or Pre-Built Store Sections) directly to any page—even if a store hasn’t been activated yet. When you drop a store element or a Pre-Built Section onto a page, the platform will automatically:

  1. Create a Store (if one doesn’t already exist).
  2. Generate the required store pages.
  3. Replicate the existing website theme (including header, footer, fonts, and colour scheme) for seamless brand consistency based on your selections.

To get started, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Website Builder, click on “Add Element,” and drag a

    Store Element

    (for example, Cart, Collections List, Featured Products) or

    Pre-Built Store Sections

    onto any page.

  2. On first use, a popup will appear asking if you’d like to

    import Design Settings

    (fonts, colours, background, etc.) from your current page.

  3. Once confirmed, your

    store will be automatically created

    and linked to the website, along with all necessary store pages.

  4. Continue customising the design of your store flow as usual.
  • If a user adds multiple store elements to one page before the store is created, the first element will trigger store creation. All subsequent element additions will be treated as normal components.
  • Manually deleting any store page will automatically delete all store pages.
  • Selecting “Skip” in the import modal will skip applying the current page’s theme while still triggering store creation. Adding a store will import all the applied theme settings from the current page into all store pages.
  • Imported sections will appear below the store elements.
