Fixed: ‘Assign to User’ Now Skips Inactive Users
Issue with Assign to User Action
In workflows that utilise the “Assign to User” action alongside Split Traffic, there was an issue where deactivated or deleted users were not revalidated during runtime. This oversight could result in contacts being assigned to inactive users, which in turn may lead to missed follow-ups.
Updated Functionality
The “Assign to User” action has now been updated to validate the status of each user when the step is executed, skipping any inactive or deleted users.
User Exclusion
If a user listed in the configured Split Traffic is no longer active, they will be excluded from assignment during execution.
- The existing split distribution order remains unchanged. Traffic will continue to be distributed as if the deleted user never existed.
- If only one user was configured and that user is deleted, the step will be skipped.
