Estimates: New filter (Viewed) and Product Descriptions

  1. New Status Addition for Estimates in Workflows: You can now filter your workflows for estimates with the following new status – Viewed. This enables you to track viewed estimates for better oversight and setting up proactive communications, actions based on them.

  1. Import Product Description Capability on Estimates:

When a new item is added to an estimate this will automatically import the product description associated for that product (based on the toggle in global invoice settings)

This brings in parity between working of an invoice and an estimate.

  1. Improved Invoice Number Blocking:

We received complaints from the user that due to invoice number being blocked for some time, some invoice numbers were being skipped unintentionally. We have optimized this flow to ensure this doesn’t happen.

  1. Enhanced Limit on Product Description in Estimates:

We have enhanced the character limits on product description from 100 to 1000 characters in estimates, this allows the descriptions to be more detailed and insightful for the final customer.

  • Go to Workflows
  • Add filters in Estimates trigger based on the condition that you want
  • To use the Product Description Capability, ensure in invoice settings -> product settings -> import product description is toggled on.
  • Voila start adding items to your estimates and it will also add the product description with it.
  • For you to track viewed estimates for better oversight and setting up proactive communications, actions based on them.
  • This enhances the features for estimates and allows auto importing descriptions associated with a product while creating their estimates with a higher character limit too.
