Cookie Consent Banner – Enhanced Regional Targeting and Text Customization

This update introduces significant improvements to the Cookie Consent Banner in the Page Builder and Preview. It offers enhanced control over the banner’s visibility and allows for full customisation of button and popup texts, ensuring better alignment with your brand and compliance requirements.

Users now have the flexibility to control the visibility of the cookie banner based on the visitor’s location. The following region options are available:

• Worldwide: Display the banner to all visitors, regardless of location.

• EU & UK: Display the banner only to users in European Union member states and the United Kingdom.

• Select Countries: Manually choose specific countries where the banner should appear.

This update helps reduce unnecessary prompts for users outside regulated areas while maintaining full compliance where required.

You can now fully edit the text on all buttons in both the banner and the cookie preferences popup. This allows for clearer user communication, better alignment with your brand voice, and improved localisation or accessibility as needed.

This includes:

• Once you customise any of the default button or popup texts:
• Built-in internationalisation (i18n) translations will no longer apply.
• You will need to manually add translations for each language you wish to support.
• Be sure to update all language variants if you serve a multilingual audience to maintain a consistent user experience.
