Contact Changed Trigger: Address Fields Added
You can now trigger workflows when a contact’s address fields change. The Contact Changed trigger now supports address-related filters such as Street Address, City, Country, and Postal Code. This means you can start automations as soon as key location data is updated.
Steps to Set Up Your Trigger:
- Open your workflow in Automation → Workflow Builder and add (or edit) a Contact Changed trigger.
- Click ‘Add filters’ and select the address field(s) you wish to monitor (e.g. Street Address, City, Country, Postal Code).
- Choose the operator (e.g. Has changed or Has changed to) and, if necessary, specify the new value.
- Save the trigger, then publish your workflow.
This enhancement simplifies the process of responding to address updates by eliminating the need for extra If/Else branches or custom-field workarounds. As a result, teams can promptly notify staff, sync with external systems, or initiate location-based campaigns as soon as address data changes.
Examples of Possible Actions:
- Send an internal alert when the Postal Code changes to a serviced area.
- Recalculate sales territories when the City or Country is updated.
- Append a note and tag the record when the Street Address is corrected.
