Support for “mailto:”, “tel:”, and “sms:” Links in URL Actions
Funnel Builder Enhancements now supports interactive URL actions using
mailto:
,
tel:
, and
sms:
links, ensuring that these links open the appropriate native applications as intended.
Previous Limitations: Previously, links such as mailto:user@email.com, tel:1234567890, or sms:1234567890 did not function as expected when added to buttons, images, or other clickable elements. This issue has now been resolved. Funnel Builder now correctly supports:
- mailto: -> opens your default email application
- tel: -> opens your phone’s calling application
- sms: -> opens your messaging application
You can now confidently use these link types in your funnels and observe their correct functionality in the Builder preview. This enhancement boosts interactivity and offers a more consistent, intuitive user experience when designing and testing interactive elements.
