Standard Builder: Pause Workflow Actions

The pause actions feature is now live on the Standard Builder!

You can now enable or disable any action within a workflow without having to delete it.

This allows you to temporarily turn off individual nodes while testing or debugging, enabling you to experiment freely without disrupting your automation.

In the Standard Builder, simply hover over any node and toggle the Pause/Play switch.

  • Disabled nodes are visibly dimmed and will be skipped during execution.
  • Enabled nodes will run normally once they are re-activated.

If a disabled node is the only path to subsequent steps, the contact will bypass the disabled nodes and only execute the active nodes.

  • Open a workflow in the Standard Builder.
  • Use the toggle on any node to disable it.
  • Re-enable when ready—there’s no need to rebuild or reconnect.

Previously, stopping a step meant either deleting or disconnecting it, which risked losing work and disrupting logic. Now, you can safely pause parts of a workflow, making testing, troubleshooting, and iteration much quicker.
