Standard Builder: Drag-and-drop triggers and actions

You can now drag and drop triggers and actions directly into the Workflow canvas from the sidebar. This enhancement to the UI/UX of the standard builder makes adding and connecting steps quicker and more seamless.

To use this feature, click and hold a trigger or action in the sidebar, then drag it onto the canvas. When you hover over a valid spot (on any + marker or between nodes), a highlighted placeholder will appear to indicate exactly where it will be added. Drop it, configure it, and once you save, it will appear on the canvas as a fully integrated step.

• Open the Triggers or Actions sidebar in a Workflow.
• Click and hold a trigger/action, then drag it onto the canvas.
• Drop it on a + marker (or between nodes), configure, then save.

Building workflows often involves repetitive clicking and inserting steps. The drag-and-drop feature reduces friction, allowing you to add actions faster, maintain your flow, and build with greater confidence—especially in larger workflows.

If you exit without saving, the action will not be added to the canvas.
