Smoother Payments with 3DS on NMI & Square 🎉

  • Cards that require additional security checks (3D Secure) will now work seamlessly with NMI and Square.
  • This feature was already available on Stripe and Custom Providers, and we are now expanding coverage to additional gateways.
  • Square: No setup is needed – it functions automatically once the customer adds their address and contact details during checkout.
  • NMI: A quick one-time setup is necessary to enable 3D Secure:
  1. Enroll in Payer Authentication 2.0 within your NMI account.
  2. Confirm that the service status is Active.
  3. Generate a Checkout Public Key for 3D Secure in your NMI Merchant Portal, and add it to your Clixio integration (see screenshot).
Once set up, whenever a card requires 3D Secure verification, your customers will automatically see a pop-up to confirm and complete their payment. Refer to the Help article.
