🏢 Introducing Company-Based Workflows 🚀
We’re thrilled to announce that Company-Based Workflows are now live in Clixio — bringing automation directly to your Company records for the first time!
You can now trigger, update, and manage automations that revolve around your Companies — empowering use cases like onboarding, account assignment, and lifecycle management, all without manual effort.
💡 Until now, workflows were limited to Contacts or Custom Objects. With this release, you can finally build workflows that start from or act on Companies – and their associated Contacts.

🔹 Company-Based Workflows
You can now create workflows where the Company itself is the enrolled record.
These workflows can react to company creation or updates and take actions such as updating fields, clearing data, or triggering emails to associated Contacts.
You can now:
- Trigger workflows from new or updated Company records.
- Update Company data automatically.
- Interact with associated Contacts or Custom Objects.
- Keep Companies and related records perfectly in sync.

⚡️ New Workflow Actions
Automatically create a new Company or add related records (like Contacts linked to that Company). This is perfect for onboarding new clients, importing accounts, or form submissions that create both Company and Contact records.
Update fields on a Company — or on Contacts linked to that Company — directly from workflows. Ideal for data syncs, lifecycle updates, or ownership changes.
Instantly clear specific fields for a Company or its associated Contacts. This is useful for resetting outdated or conditional data when records are updated.

🔄 New Actions for Companies inside Contact-Based Workflows
We’ve also extended existing Contact workflows so you can now interact with Companies seamlessly.
Create and link a new Company record directly from a Contact workflow — no manual association needed.
Update the details of the Company linked to a Contact. For example, when a Contact’s status changes, update the associated Company’s relationship stage.
Automatically clear selected Company fields when specific Contact-based conditions are met.

🧩 New Workflow Triggers
- 🧱 Association Created (coming soon)
Trigger a workflow whenever a new association is created between records. This is great for syncing, onboarding, or automating contextual communication.
Starts a workflow the moment a new Company record is added — whether manually, via import, form, API, or integration. Use it to send welcome emails or create associated Contacts.
Triggers when specific Company fields (like Industry, Status, or Domain) are updated. React instantly to company-level changes by syncing data or sending updates.
—
🌐 Also Available Across All Workflow Types (Separate Release Notes)
These actions are now live across Company, Contact, and Custom Object workflows. Each has its own detailed changelogs.
- Associate Record (coming soon)
Link the enrolled record to other records using association labels (where supported by the objects involved).
Enroll records associated with the trigger (by label) directly into another workflow.
Unenroll associated records (by label) from a specified workflow — great for cleanup when conditions change.
Resolve an existing record via filters (IDs/fields) and set it as the “current record” for downstream steps; includes earliest/latest tie-breakers.
Email all Contacts associated with the trigger record using selected association labels — beyond the enrolled Contact.
