Enhanced ESP Block Monitoring & Progressive Enforcement (AUP Update)

To enhance deliverability protection across the platform, we have introduced improved monitoring and progressive enforcement regarding excessive Email Service Provider (ESP) blocks at the sub-account level.

  • Sub-accounts that exceed acceptable ESP block thresholds will receive a warning email, notifying them that email sending may be temporarily suspended if issues persist.
  • If elevated block activity continues, email sending will be temporarily suspended for 12 hours (first occurrence).
  • Repeated violations will result in a 24-hour temporary suspension.
  • In a future phase, sub-accounts with two suspension occurrences may face permanent email sending suspension.

Excessive ESP blocks can:

  • Permanently damage sender reputation
  • Increase spam placement rates
  • Trigger mailbox provider throttling
  • Lead to domain or IP blacklisting
  • Impact deliverability across shared infrastructure

This update is designed to protect inbox placement, maintain compliance with the requirements of major mailbox providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook), and ensure deliverability performance for all users on the platform.
