CRM Contacts And Client Portal
We’ve added a new feature to the Document Management System in the Contacts section, enabling seamless integration with the Client Portal. CRM users can now share files directly with contacts and receive uploads back, all from within the Documents area.

Centralised Files: All shared and received documents are located under a single Documents tab, reducing fragmentation.

Improved Collaboration: Businesses and clients can exchange files without using email or third-party storage.

Enhanced Control: Users and contacts can manage their own uploads, and CRM users can revoke access instantly.
📂 Share Documents from CRM to Client Portal
- Under CRM > Contacts > Documents, each file now has a Share toggle.
- Turning On grants the contact immediate access in their portal.
- Turning Off revokes access instantly; no file deletions or extra clicks are needed.
📥 Client Uploads to CRM
- Contacts click Upload Document in the Client Portal; files will appear under CRM > Documents > Client Portal.
- Contacts can delete their uploads at any time, keeping their portal tidy.
- Both CRM users and contacts can preview or download any shared or uploaded document.
- This feature will only be available to contacts who are Client Portal users.
- Documents and Contracts cannot be toggled for sharing or unsharing at this time.
