Conversation AI – Auto Follow-Up (Flow-Based Builder)

Auto Follow-Up is now available as a Flow-Based Builder experience, allowing you to visually configure how Conversation AI re-engages contacts who become inactive, indicate they’re busy, or request a follow-up later.

This new feature enables you to restart a stalled conversation from within an existing workflow when a contact stops responding.

This means:

  • You no longer need separate re-engagement workflows.
  • You won’t lose context when a contact remains silent mid-flow.
  • Conversation AI can pick up exactly where the workflow left off.

Primary Use Case (Most Important)

  • Contact Stops Replying Inside a Workflow

When a contact becomes inactive mid-workflow, you can now:

  • Automatically detect the drop-off.
  • Schedule follow-up messages directly from the same flow.
  • Re-initiate the conversation without having to restart or branch into a new workflow.
  • Resume the conversation naturally once the contact replies.

This transforms workflows from fire-and-forget automations into state-aware conversations.
